Reuse and Recycle Those Baby Items!

It’s inevitable that a baby turns into a toddler and the toddler turns into a full-blown adult in the blink of an eye.

Since the baby has moved on to bigger and better things what should we do with all the baby stuff that has accumulated all over our homes?

What can we to do with the bottles, food jars and cloth diapers? Here are some neat ideas for reusing baby items.

Safety Gate:

Use it as a sweater dryer by placing it flat over the bathtub or sink and lying the sweater over it.

A safety gate can also be used to keep the family pet out of certain household areas.

Lunch boxes:

Can be used to hold many things such as coupons, receipts, hair clips, and matches, etc.

Cloth Diapers:

These are excellent for dusting. Once finished dusting, just throw them in the wash and they are ready to dust again.

Baby Sleep Monitor:

Put one end of the monitor next to a radio and take the other end outside while gardening or relaxing and still be able to listen to the radio.

Baby Jars:

Clean out the jar and put a votive candle inside the jar. These baby jars make great candleholders. The glass prevents the flame from going anywhere and the glass lets the light shine through. A terrific idea for a BBQ would be to line them up outside to light the way.

Baby Bottle Brush:

Keep the bottle brush to clean vases and teapots. The baby bottle brushes are very useful for getting into difficult areas.

Frugal Fanatic Tip:

For the remaining baby stuff that has no other use, it is time to de-clutter. De-cluttering options are: Garage sale, handing the items down to someone your know will need them, donating to a non-profit organization and/or reselling the items at a second hand store or on Ebay
