Storing Homemade Baby Food – A new product frm Australia!

We’ve stumbled upon these nifty trays for storing homemade baby food!  The Qubies site describes these nifty containers as:

Qubies is an upside down ice cube container specifically designed to store and freeze baby puree into convenient meal sized cubes (30ml). But don’t be fooled. It’s extremely savvy and unique in both design and concept.

What’s different?  The secret lies in the clever patented design.  Instead of dividers being inside the container, Qubies has reversed the traditional design and now has the dividers on the lid! 

These nifty trays are the creation of Mom Alexandra.  She created these because “Freezing and storing the baby food I’d cooked for my son became a ‘red rag to a bull’.  Why? Well, I tried a number of different methods including ice cube trays and various shaped containers to find that none were really suitable.  I broke lots of containers trying to remove the frozen cubes and they often weren’t the right meal portion either. I didn’t need the stress when I was trying to enjoy the experience of introducing solids to my baby boy. Out of frustration came creative inspiration and Qubies was born.”
