Is your pumpkin or winter squash puree plagued with hard strings?

Many people write to ask about the hard bits and strings in their butternut, acorn or pumpkin puree.  You may find these annoying things in your puree if you have scraped the meat too close to the shell.  When scraping out the meat, try not to get too close to the shell.  I hope that this fresh image will show you exactly what I mean.
