Can Babies Eat Pomegranates?
Pomegranates do not make a good baby food. They may pose a choking hazard as the “edible” portions of the fruit are actually the seeds. The seeds are known as the arils.
Consider offering only the pomegranate juice to baby around 8-10 months old. You could incorporate it into baby smoothies, sweet potato puree, mashed bananas and even add it to applesauce!
Roll the Pomegranate around to loosen the juice and then insert a straw to drain.
Let your older kids drink the juice straignt from the Pom for a new treat.
